The City of Ventura (officially the City of San Buenaventura) is located between Malibu and Santa Barbara on the Pacific Ocean coastline. This Historic city overlooks Anacapa and Santa Cruz islands. The city grew up around the Mission San Buenaventura which Father Junípero Serra founded in the late 18th century. This unique city epitomizes the Historical value while providing all modern amenities and attractions.

The Channel Islands National Park lies just off shore as does a National Marine Sanctuary. The Los Padres National Forest is found in Ventura’s foothills while two of California’s longest flowing open rivers help to form the city’s boundaries.

Midtown Real Estate

Midtown is a bungalow style community developed back in the 1920’s. Most of the houses are small Cape Cod or Spanish style homes. Many of the homes have wood floors and all have a lot of character. This neighborhood is a very “in-demand” due to its convenient location close to the Beach area and Harbor.

Hillside Real Estate
These neighborhoods have beautiful Ocean and Mountain view properties. There is an ambiance of country living in these hillside homes. The houses are mostly large traditional Spanish style, some having as many as 5 bedrooms.

Ventura Beach Real Estate
The beach homes are in the Pierpoint, Ventura Keys and Ventura Marina. This beach area offers small bungalows to Majestic beachfront homes with up to 90 feet of beach frontage! Nearby Solimar, Faria Beach Colony and Rincon, Mussel Shoals and La Conchita make up the “north coast” developments nearby. Most residential units are predominantly two units to four units, though a few larger buildings are occasionally available.

Ventura East End
East End homes are in many cases, newer than midtown housing or the Hillside homes. Some East End tracts include the Presidents Tract, Fairfield, Concord, Citrus Hills, Stonehedge, Stonehedge Park, Woodside Cottages, Woodside Greens. The schools includes Buena High school, Balboa and Anacapa Middle school, Citrus Glen, Juanamaria, Saticoy Elmhurst Elementary Schools.
