Old La Rams

Old La RamsThe Rams are making their return to Southern California. They will play their games in a new stadium in Inglewood. But they will practice in Conjeo Valley.

That is if their proposal to Cal Lutheran for space gets approved.

A Notice of Application “to allow the construction of 50,000 square feet of temporary modular buildings for use in conjunction with an athletic facility utilizing fields and parking previously approved for California Lutheran University” was posted above the university’s North Field.

Los Angeles developer Wilson Meany applied as the builder of the project, according to the city of Thousand Oaks. Wilson Meany is also responsible for constructing the Rams NFL stadium in Inglewood, which is scheduled for completion in 2019.

Minicamp will be played in Oxnard at River Ridge Fields starting April 18.The Rams will then relocate to UC Irvine for training camp in August as the Dallas Cowboys take over the Oxnard location as its regular training site.

Office space is being negotiated in Agoura and they will play at their old home the Los Angeles Coliseum for three years or until the new facility in Inglewood is complete.
